Dr. John F. Demartini earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Biochemistry from the University of Houston in 1978 and entered the Texas Chiropractic College that same year.

While attending the Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Demartini was acknowledged by both the Educational and the National Dean's Lists. His name was recorded in Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges and International Man of Achievement . In 1982, Dr. Demartini received his Doctorate degree at the Texas Chiropractic College and graduated magna cum laude, serving as class salutatorian and earning a Special Achievement Award in Clinical Practice.

He opened his first office in 1982 and within four years the practice grew to five times its original size, adding five associate chiropractors and support staff members to become one of the largest chiropractic facilities in Houston. In 1984, Dr. Demartini began an extensive speaking career with numerous engagements at Parker Seminars and other chiropractic management organizations and associations. And in 1986, he sold his practice and relocated to the 52nd floor of Houston's prestigious Transco Tower in order to dedicate his energies to speaking and consulting with the goal of helping chiropractors around the world grow their practices and become more inspired and successful. Dr. James Parker, Founder and President of the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation presented him the Chiropractor of the Year Award in 1988.

Dr. Demartini is a member of the Parker Chiropractic Research Foundation, the American Chiropractic Association, Texas Chiropractic Association and the National Speakers Association. He currently speaks full time, writes books on health and philosophy related subjects and consults for chiropractors and health professionals throughout the world.
