Dear Students
of Wisdom
Welcome to a New Year that appears to be breezing
by at nearly light speed. So many amazing transformations
are occurring worldwide in such a short amount of time.
History is being made as the moments tick and as you read
this very letter. I would love to share with you a brief
message concerning some principles of human values. Reflect
upon them and imagine them being applied to present global
conditions. Open your heart to the wisdom of human design.
Principles of Human Values:
Your
human values arise from your perceived voids.
Your
voids are those nouns (people, places, things, ideas or
events), or verbs (actions or inactions) that ‘appear’
to be missing.
What
you imagine to be most missing becomes most important,
or most valuable.
Full-fill-ment
means fully filling your minds voids.
Actually
there is nothing missing.
What
appears to be missing is simply and illusively what has
been overlooked by the selective reality of your senses.
All
things that appear to be missing are actually present
but in unrecognized and unappreciated forms.
Your
addictive attachment to specific forms gives rise to perceived
missing-nesses.
There
is actually no gains, or losses, only transformations.
The
quality of your life is determined by the quality of the
questions you ask.
Quality
questions result in fulfilled voids.
The
hierarchy of your values dictates your destiny.
Your
voids and values evolve through time, as does your destinies
along your life’s journey.
Some
voids are transient and others appear to be relatively
eternal.
Whatever
supports your values you label good and are attracted
to.
Whatever
challenges your values you label bad and are repelled
from.
Morals
pertain to you supporting and challenging your own values.
Ethics
pertain to others supporting and challenging your values
and vice versa.
You
tighten your constraints and rules upon yourself when
you appear to challenge your values.
You
loosen your constraints and rules upon yourself when you
appear to support your values.
You
tighten your constraints and rules upon others and give
ultimatums when they appear to challenge your values.
You
loosen your constraints and rules upon others and give
freedoms when they appear to support your values.
Carelessness
is assuming your values are more important than other’s
values and projecting your values with expectations onto
others.
Carefulness
is assuming your values are less important than other’s
values and having others project their values with expectations
onto you.
Caring
is honorably assuming that your values are equally as
important as other’s values (neither greater nor
lesser) and communicating your values in terms of theirs.
Selling
outside relationships is the same as caring inside relationships.
When
you infatuate with others you minimize your own value
hierarchy and unwisely attempt to live your life through
theirs.
When
you resent others you maximize your own value hierarchy
and unwisely attempt to have others live their life through
yours.
I
believe the above principles of human values will give
you a few moments of contemplation and food for thought.
They certainly pertain to the world at hand. Read between
the lines and discover the nature of the human species.
We
live in a magnificent universe. We often overlook the
hidden order that underlies the apparent chaos. An inherent
beauty surrounds and permeates us. Humbleness to divinity
brings certainty for humanity. May the principles of human
behavior be of assistance to your inspiring journey.
